Furs storing and cleaning.
Furs are best stored at temperature form 5 to 20 oC.
Fur coats should be hanged on wide coat-hangers.
In the wardrobe, fur should be hanged loose, not touching other
clothes, for good air circulation and to prevent hair flattening.
Furs should be regularly cleaned from dust and dirt, shaken out,
ventilated on open air. If in the end of a season your clothing needs
cleaning, it will be better to give it to special dry-cleaning.
The chief enemy of furs is moth.
The main defence from moth are modern means of fighting it, including special furs covers.
We suggest that you regularly check all your fur clothes.
We DO NOT recommend that you:
-
dry fur near heating devices;
-
comb wet fur;
-
store furs in plastic covers;
-
apply toilet water, eau-de-Cologne or perfume to furs.
Try not to carry bags or sacks over the shoulder, as the fur there can be easily rubbed off.
